  • If you want to customize your VPN connection further go back to the Network and Sharing Center and click on Manage network connections. Highlight  your new VPN connection and click on Change settings of this connection on the top menu.

Banner INF VPN

Follow the same steps as documented previously except when prompted for the name of the connection use something like Banner INF VPN and when prompted for the host name or IP address use infvpn.montana.edu. This VPN connection differs from the generic VPN connection by requiring you to be added to a Active Directory group called BannerTSusers before you can authenticate on the VPN server. You will not be able to authenticate using a trusted Domain account as you are with the other VPN connections, you must use an MSU Domain account. The Banner New Account Request Form or the Change/Delete Banner Account Request Form is available to apply for addition to this group. If you are connecting to Banner INF from a dial-up connection and you  have met the requirements for working from home by filling out the previously mentioned form, you will need to check out a CD from the ITC Computer Store in the Renne Library Basement. If you have any other questions look on the Banner SAIS Web site for more information.

If you are having trouble with this page...you probably can't read this and any contact information I put here would be useless.
